Critical Best Practice Metrics to Maximise the Effectiveness of their Maintenance Planning and Scheduling Programmes

Overview

Performance Metrics or Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) are integral to the effective measurement and management of an organization’s operations. This workshop will provide a sound overview of critical best practice metrics for use by Maintenance and Reliability professionals to maximise the effectiveness of their maintenance planning, and maintenance scheduling programmes, thus delivering significant productivity gains across their maintenance and asset management operations.

None of these gains are possible without addressing the human dimension by way of enabling and empowering your maintenance engineering team to realize their full potential. Attendees will be provided with a clear understanding of how to correctly apply relevant metrics to their planning and scheduling activities, including the importance of understating lagging and leading indicators, and how to correctly benchmark between multiple sites or operations.

Worked examples and real-world case studies will be used to demonstrate how to correctly apply and implement metrics to drive improvement and identify effective opportunities to make sustainable step changes to their specific operational portfolios. The workshop will also include strategies to prevent the gaming of metrics and developing a sound framework to successfully implement a complimentary suite of metrics to suit their individual requirements.
